Michael musick, pt, dpt

Michael began his career in fitness in 2016 while at Washburn University, leading High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and strength classes. He became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 2019 after earning his Associate of Science degree, and went on to complete a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology in 2020.

Over the years, Michael has worked across a wide range of clinical settings — from outpatient rehab and home health to hospitals, ICU, post-surgical unit, acute rehab, and assisted living facilities. He returned to school to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Mary, graduating in 2023.

The idea for Remote PT and Wellness was sparked during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Michael helped physical therapists integrate telehealth into their practices. That experience opened his eyes to the potential of remote care. As he continued working in traditional settings, he saw how many patients were held back by high co-pays, insurance denials, long waitlists, and rushed, impersonal appointments. These limitations made it clear: there had to be a better way to deliver care.

At Remote PT and Wellness, we believe rehab should be built around your goals — not insurance policies. That’s why we provide flexible, expert-guided recovery and performance coaching to help you move better, feel better, and thrive on your terms.
